Next Ritual: 7:00pm – 8:30pm Friday April 24, 2020
This ritual is held only once each year
This is a ritual ceremony connecting with Lord Shiva During this ceremony Jennifer leads participants to connect with Lord Shiva powers and blessings to clear away ego attachments and heal the shadow aspects of the self, allowing rebirth; healing and renewal.
This ceremony is typically worked on the floor and works with connecting the earth element for grounding. This ritual takes elements from both the Buddhist and Vedic (yogic) carnal ground practises and invokes Lord Shiva for his guidance and energy of destruction and renewal.
Lord Shiva is the patron of the funeral grounds and yogis, and is Lord of Death and Rebirth. Lord Shiva is known as the destroyer of evil. The tranquil-looking Lord Shiva can turn into a destroyer clearing all negativity. Lord Shiva has multiple shades to his personality, and is one god who can truly teach the wisdom to live life well.
Lord Shiva has a special connection to meditation practises which aid in controlling and clearing the ill-effects of the uncontrolled ego. Your uncontrolled ego is the only thing that prevents you from attaining greatness. It is your uncontrolled ego that comes between your goals and your dreams, and makes you a less loving person. It is said that Lord Shiva carries his trishul (trident) to keep his ego in check. Lord Shiva never lets his ego get the better of himself. On the other hand, nor does Lord Shiva tolerate anyone else’s ego causing harm.
Participants connect with Lord Shiva, his powers, and his blessings to clear away ego attachments and heal the shadow aspects of the self. Lord Shiva is the prefect Divine Energy to assist in releasing those aspects of the shadow self and ego that cause suffering. Through Lord Shiva’s Dance, his energy moving through the ritual space all negativity is cleared and released with grace and ease, allowing participants to move into a more expansive inner space to allow change, so all things can be cleared, healed and made anew.
This year, 2020, the ritual is being run as a guided online ceremony using Zoom allowing participants to follow along at home. This event is supported by Mystical Dragon.
