Guan Yin - Quan Yin

Connecting with Goddess Guan Yin workshop

Next Workshop: 2-5pm Saturday March 7, 2020

Benefit from the many Blessings Guan Yin can shower on you when you learn how to connect with her for spiritual teaching, healing and protection.

During the workshop you will learn about the story and different aspects of the Goddess Guan Yin (Quan Yin) and how to work with her by devotional mantra practice for protection, healing, and spiritual development.

Guan Yin is a compassionate Goddess who watches for, and responds to, the people in the world who cry out for help. Guan Yin is the bodhisattva of compassion, revered as the Goddess of Mercy. Her name is short for Guan Shi Yin. Guan means to observe, watch, or monitor; Shi means the world; and Yin means sounds, specifically of those who suffer.

A central part of working with Guan Yin is using Mala beads (prayer beads). You will learn how to make your own Mala beads to use with your mantra practise. The short course will also cover setting up an altar to Guan Yin and will teach special invocations to Guan Yin for use in protection and clearing negativity, for strengthening inner peace and wisdom, for improving health and healing, for deepening spiritual awareness, and for happiness and prosperity.

Guan Yin is a Goddess that blesses us with wisdom, peace, health and harmony in our lives and is simply sublime to connect with. Her devotional practises not only strengthen her connection with us, but grant us the energy of her many blessings in our daily lives. While Guan Yin is a peaceful goddess, she is powerfully and fiercely protective of all those who call upon her for help; helping to avert great dangers or clear serious obstacles in our lives. As a wisdom Goddess, Guan Yin teaches the path to bettering ourselves and helps us achieve happiness, with grace and divine knowledge.
